Branch Technologies

Goal
Branch Technologies is a company that operates the F2P social game
Branch which combines proximity voice and sandbox building atmospheres. My direct involvement was a Full Stack role, where I would have to build backend systems like matchmaking, and front facing content like interactable objects. With the scale of Branch, and allowing users to own their own Branches, scalability and quick to development cycles were the key in making Branch succeed.
GodComplex / Hylist Games

Role: Software Engineer Manager
Goal
God Complex is a company that operates F2P SaaS video games. The company builds platforms on Minecraft, Hytale, Roblox, and standalone games. God Complex owns Hylist Games, another game company that produces VeltPvP / Arcane Network. My direct involvement is with both companies as the Lead Software Engineer / Engineering Manager, overseeing weekly development lifecycles for a team of over 15.
Grand Theft Minecart

Role: Software Engineer
Goal
Grand Theft Minecart is a F2P SaaS video game based in Minecraft. The game inherits gameplay mechanics similar to Grand Theft Auto 5 and adds a Minecraft twist on gameplay style. Players unlocks ranks by raiding and defeating other players, unlocking access to housing systems, weapon unlocks, missions, and other extensive content.
Isles Softworks
Length: June 2015 - Sept 2017
Role: Software Engineer Manager
Goal
Isles Softworks was a company created from the formation of Island Clash, which is the first official product produced. The company expanded into handling multiple F2P SaaS products and expanded into PrisonMC network and Proper Dummies network. The company generated revenue from freemium services offered to players and partnered with popular influencers like PrestonPlayz, Woofless, AviatorGaming, JeromeASF, and others.
The Core MC
Length: Dec 2012 - Oct 2014
Role: Software Engineer
Goal
The Core MC was a minigame network based in Minecraft operating as a F2P SaaS product. Popular minigames include Hot Potato, Control Point, Age of Minecraft, The Core Games, and Blockades. The network was made to give players a variety of games to play with cross game progression, unlocking multiple perks in each game and playing across multiple maps. Additions to the server included pets, global ranks, and a queue system allowing players to queue quickly to join any game.
